Two Ways to Live: Understanding God's Rule, Our Rebellion, and His Rescue

Two Ways to Live is a simple and clear explanation of God’s love for humanity. God is the loving ruler of the world—He made the world and created us to live under His good and perfect rule. Yet instead of trusting God, we chose to live our own way. Through sin, we rejected God as our ruler and made ourselves our own authority. This rebellion against God brings judgment, because God is just and cannot ignore sin. But because of His great love, God did not leave us to face His judgment alone. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who lived perfectly under God’s rule and willingly took God’s judgment upon Himself in our place. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, forgiveness and new life are offered to all. There are two ways to live: continuing our own way and facing God’s judgment, or turning to God’s—trusting in Jesus as our Saviour and ruler, and receiving forgiveness, restored relationship with God, and eternal life.
